Human Resources GeneralistWe are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support our employees and leadership team through benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and HR operations. This role requires strong knowledge of employment laws, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.Compensation OverviewCompensation range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000Key ResponsibilitiesBenefits AdministrationAdminister employee benefit programs, including enrollments, life events, and open enrollment.Serve as the primary contact for employee benefit questions.Ensure compliance with applicable benefits regulations.Broker & Vendor RelationsMaintain relationships with benefits brokers and insurance carriers.Assist with benefit renewals, compliance, and vendor communications.Employee RelationsProvide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and workplace issues.Conduct employee investigations and assist with conflict resolution.Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives.Experience & Qualifications3+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience.Strong knowledge of benefits administration, workers' compensation, unemployment, and employee relations.Working knowledge of federal and Colorado employment laws.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Experience with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred).PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.What We Offer:Competitive 401k / 401k matchingMedical / Dental / Vision InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) - free, confidential counselingPTO AccrualHealth Savings AccountFlexible Spending AccountVoluntary Life and AD&DEmployee Discounted Pricing on Parts, Vehicles, and ServiceWhat Makes Us Different?For more than 65 years, McDonald Automotive has been one of Colorado's most respected family-owned dealership groups.
