Registered Nurse – ER (Travel) in Los Angeles, California. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct in-home nursing care for hospice patients, focusing on symptom management and comfort.
- Collect relevant data, assess health status, and develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, therapies, and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse effects.
- Coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team and participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care.
- Supervise and delegate duties to other nursing staff and aides as appropriate.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, safety, medications, and disease progression; promote a safe home environment.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or eligible per state requirements; current licensure required.
- CPR/BLS certification from an approved vendor (required).
- ACLS certification (required).
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification (required).
- EPIC electronic medical record experience (required).
- Minimum of two years of recent RN clinical experience; BSN preferred.
- Ability to work in a home hospice setting; capable of providing in-home nursing care during night shifts.
