Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Los Angeles, CA, United States. This 13-week home healthcare - hospice position starts 09/14/2026. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a weekly pay range of $1,953 to $2,046. Shift: 5x8 Evenings. This assignment is offered by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group in a home healthcare - hospice setting, following established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessment information, determine diagnoses and care issues, and develop and implement a care plan.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines; supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; use critical thinking and independent judgment.
- Provide patient and family education; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care; promote a safe, healing, and compassionate environment.
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of the healthcare team; document care and outcomes; maintain accurate records in the electronic health record (EPIC experience is required).
- Collaborate with the patient, family, and treatment team to ensure quality care and safe transitions across settings.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California required)
- CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS and Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certified as per policy
- EPIC experience required
- BSN preferred
- Minimum of two years of recent nursing experience in the field; acute care experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a home healthcare - hospice setting
- EPIC experience is explicitly required per job notes
