Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews to understand clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health needs while accurately documenting cases from initial consultations through the conclusion of treatment.

• Evaluate clients' conditions using evidence-based methods and develop individualized intervention and recovery plans tailored for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing effective therapeutic techniques to foster a healing environment.
\n
• Regularly monitor clients' progress throughout treatment, ensuring adherence to and modification of treatment plans as necessary to support the best outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals such as psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to cohesively manage clients' care.
\n
• Coordinate follow-up with referring physicians and psychiatrists for clients requiring hospitalization or additional care.
\n
• Identify behaviors that may impede recovery and develop proactive strategies to mitigate these risks.
\n
• Assist family members and primary caregivers by providing guidance and resources to help manage the mental health challenges of their loved ones.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction issues, and relationship problems. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to manage client documentation and records effectively.
\n
• A deep understanding of the intersection of physical health, emotional wellness, and addiction disorders, including familiarity with the latest therapeutic practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of three years of experience providing counseling services in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
\n
• Experience working with varying treatment modalities, and knowledge of American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) guidelines and ethical practices.

• Proven track record of effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus.
