Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, preferences, and treatment goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to promote active participation in their treatment.

• Monitor and assess clients’ progress, making timely adjustments to treatment plans as necessary and based on documented outcomes.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Stay informed about current research and evidence-based strategies in mood disorders to enhance therapeutic efficacy.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client sessions, evaluations, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a wide range of clients facing challenges such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders in an outpatient setting. Our practice serves a diverse demographic, requiring cultural competence and sensitivity in your therapeutic approach. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as either an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Two years of post-licensure clinical experience, specifically focused on the treatment of mood disorders is preferred.

• Strong expertise in evidence-based treatment techniques, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Solid understanding of psychopharmacology and effective teamwork with medical professionals.

• Demonstrated success in delivering positive therapeutic outcomes for clients.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills applicable in fostering relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working in outpatient mental health settings, particularly with clients suffering from mood disorders, can greatly enhance your candidacy. Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems is also advantageous, facilitating seamless documentation and client care continuity.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers an attractive annual salary in the range of USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
