Technical Support Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology support sector, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Technical Support Engineer to join their team. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be part of the Customer Support Department supporting technical operations and customer service initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

• Apply growing technical knowledge to operate specific technology areas such as server administration, technical security management, or performance management.
• Resolve routine technical incidents independently while collaborating with team members on more complex issues.
• Utilize HP solutions to meet customer needs within designated technical responsibilities.
• Participate in customer expectation management as part of the escalation process, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with management and customers, setting clear expectations based on defined parameters.

What's Needed?

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree or an Associate degree in a technical field with 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HP products and services offerings.
• Effective communication skills suitable for technical and management audiences.
• Strong active listening skills and the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
• Problem-solving skills with a proactive, reactive, and creative approach based on established procedures.
