Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Active Motion, you will work onsite in an energetic, cooperative environment alongside a team of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our clinic prioritizes a patient-centered approach while maintaining a friendly atmosphere that fosters collaboration and professional growth. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life routine.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to establish patient needs and treatment goals within an orthopedic outpatient framework.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, treating one patient per hour to ensure focused and individualized care.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques aimed at enhancing patients' mobility and function.
• Identify and deliver cost-effective interventions that minimize reliance on medications and avoid unnecessary surgical procedures.
• Incorporate fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patients' needs and progress.
• Maintain open communication with patients to motivate them through their rehabilitation journey and empower them to achieve their goals.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Document patient progress, treatment protocols, and outcomes meticulously to ensure continuity of care and compliance with best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with primarily include those facing orthopedic challenges—ranging from sports-related injuries to postoperative rehabilitation. Our clientele is largely comprised of individuals with private medical insurance, allowing us the flexibility to provide comprehensive and personalized treatments that cater to each patient's unique recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Must possess current California licensure as a Physical Therapist, with a clean professional record free of disciplinary measures.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a deep understanding of rehabilitation principles are required.
• Proficiency in developing and overseeing patient exercise regimens tailored to individual needs.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly with familiarity in WebPT or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient clinical setting is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated competency in advanced therapeutic techniques, manual therapy, and rehabilitation protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
