Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed individual and family therapy assessments to inform treatment plans and therapy approaches.

• Facilitating structured group therapy sessions that adhere to a predetermined schedule, fostering a supportive group dynamic.

• Demonstrating cultural competence and adaptability when working with patients from various backgrounds and managing a diverse range of DSM diagnoses.

• Utilizing psychosocial assessments to develop, administer, and adjust personalized treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and patient feedback.

• Documenting all therapy sessions and treatment strategies in compliance with medical necessity standards, ensuring thorough and accurate records.

• Participating in weekly team treatment planning sessions to share insights, discuss patient progress, and align strategies for effective care.

• Collaborating with the team to create discharge and aftercare plans tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring continuity of care.

• Coordinating patient care efforts and facilitating interdisciplinary collaborations when appropriate.

• Providing age-appropriate care for a wide range of clients, including children, youth, adults, and geriatric patients, while being mindful of their individual physical, psychological, and cultural needs.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and unrestricted license to practice as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
