Job Description
Title: Nursing - Acute Care

Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts

Assignment Details:
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Requirements:
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Documented medical/telemetry experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with trauma patients, heparin drips, and acute medications
- Specialty equipment handling (gait belts, geriatric chairs, PT equipment) preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to an adult and older adult population.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as ordered.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
- Educate patients and families about health management and care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices in nursing care.

Compliance / Notes:
- Documentation of skills and experience required.
- No requests for time off (RTO) permitted during the contract.
