Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to identify the unique needs, goals, and challenges faced by each individual.
• Develop and implement comprehensive, personalized treatment plans that maximize patient outcomes, utilizing evidence-based techniques and methodologies.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, seeing approximately one patient per hour while providing quality, one-on-one attention and care.
• Utilize various assessment tools and treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to optimize recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care and an integrated treatment strategy.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, maintaining accurate records of evaluations, treatment sessions, and results in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatment options, and home management strategies to empower them in their recovery journeys.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and post-operative rehabilitation. You will work closely with clients of all ages, tailoring your approach to their specific needs and helping them regain strength, mobility, and independence.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing physical therapy services, particularly in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Strong knowledge of treatment principles, manual therapy techniques, and exercise prescription.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
• A professional record free of any board actions or disciplinary measures.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation facility or outpatient clinic, particularly focusing on orthopedic therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
