Quick Facts: Location: 725 North Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201 Start Date: 08/01/2026 Duration: 6 months with potential for permanent placement after 6 months Shift: 8-hour supervised shifts, with overtime after 10 hours Hours/Week: 40 hours/week Employment Type: Locum (with potential for permanent) License/Certifications: Active RN license, CRNA certification Experience: Minimum of experience in anesthesia, prior surgical case experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: Up to $290/hour (guaranteed 8 hours daily) Overtime: Paid after 10 hours Holiday Rate: 1.5x pay during holiday weeks (not guaranteed for 32 hours) Reimbursements: Flight, hotel, rental car, licensure, certifications, travel, and other applicable reimbursements Additional Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), robust referral bonus program, paid sick time per applicable laws, 24/7 dedicated support team, licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements What You’ll Do: Provide supervised anesthesia services for general, obstetrical, neurosurgical, and endoscopic procedures Manage anesthesia for adult and pediatric surgical cases Collaborate with OR staff to ensure patient safety and optimal anesthesia delivery Document procedures accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR system Support multiple operating rooms including main OR and endoscopy units Assist in trauma cases and regional anesthesia techniques such as epidural and IV regional anesthesia What You Need: Required: Active RN license and CRNA certification Minimum 2 years of anesthesia experience in hospital settings Proficiency with Meditech Expanse or similar EMR systems Preferred: Experience with trauma Level 3 facilities Ability to work independently or with supervision as needed Strong teamwork and communication skills About the Assignment: This assignment is at a reputable hospital in Pittsfield, a vibrant community known for its cultural scene and outdoor activities.
