Key Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in the development and execution of individualized treatment plans, focusing on patient's mobility, strength, and functionality.
• Guide patients through tailored therapeutic exercises, stretching routines, and recovery activities to promote physical wellness and alleviate discomfort.
• Educate patients regarding proper body mechanics and exercise techniques, ensuring they can safely continue their recovery at home with effective home exercise programs.
• Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, as well as heat and cold therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress rigorously, including monitoring range of motion, strength gains, and functional improvements.
• Prepare treatment areas by organizing therapeutic tools and ensuring that all equipment is readily available for effective therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to assure coordinated care pathways and enhanced patient outcomes, facilitating communication among diverse healthcare professionals.
• Foster emotional support and encouragement for patients, creating a motivating environment critical for their rehabilitation journeys.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate's Degree from a recognized Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Compensation and Benefits
