Work Environment

This full-time position requires you to work onsite in a hospital setting, where you will collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. You will be working directly with patients in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest rehabilitative technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients to enhance mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Guide patients through specialized therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities to promote physical health and alleviate pain.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics and exercise techniques, creating home exercise programs that empower them in their recovery journey.
• Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, with consistent supervision from the Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and functional abilities.
• Prepare treatment areas and streamline the availability of equipment and supplies for therapy sessions.
• Foster a collaborative approach by working closely with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients, reinforcing their motivation and commitment to recovery.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in executing therapeutic exercises under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Compensation and Benefits
