You’ll serve as an attorney providing support and leveraging experience with procurement transactions at all stages, as well as regulatory compliance, as part of a broader legal department and the team of government markets attorneys supporting the government business across Civil, Defense, and National Security Sectors. You’ll support as the lead Govt Markets point of contact for the Health market within our Civil Sector. This will encompass a wide range of complex transactional issues at the prime and subcontract levels, and involve providing legal advice and counsel for Market leaders and their teams. You’ll anticipate business needs and develop practical solutions with agility and action. You’ll establish trusted partnerships across the company and collaborate with fellow members of the Legal, Ethics and Compliance team to protect and advance the company while navigating the complex, multifaceted, and often novel legal and compliance risks we face today. The world can’t wait.You Must Have:8+ years of experience practicing law in a law firm, corporate, or government environment, including supporting commercial and technology mattersExperience with government contracts law, including FAR, DFARS, federal procurement statutes and regulations, and bid protest jurisprudenceExperience leading or assisting with prime contract and subcontract negotiations, pre-award support, and post-award counselingExperience partnering closely with senior business leaders to develop comprehensive solutions to problemsExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate risks and root causes, and to aid in designing and implementing practical mitigation strategies or action plansAbility to listen actively and ensure that the right questions are being asked and answered and translate legalese or regulations into succinct, clear, and workable business solutionsAbility to execute against clear goals, priorities, and success metrics or KPIs, and manage against program plansJ.D. degreeActive bar admission with any U.S. state barNice If You Have:Experience with commercial and non-FAR-based contracting, including federal or non-federal, or commercialExperience with state or local procurement law, including state statutes, regulations, processes, bidding, and negotiations with state or local governmentsExperience with government contracting, including in a professional servicesfirmExperience with software development or modernizing legacy or enterprise systems for government contractsExperience with advising on product or solution-oriented salesExperience with government contracts regulatory framework, especially rules and considerations for Post-GovernmentExperience advising on information security and data safeguarding statutes, regulations, and compliance frameworks across civilian agenciesKnowledge of employment and competition, antitrust, organizational, and personal conflicts of interest, or gifts and antikickbackAbility to work under pressure in a dynamic environmentCompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $162,800.00 to $303,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
