Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Leading individual and group therapy sessions utilizing therapeutic techniques founded in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Assessing and tracking client progress through thorough documentation and effective communication, ensuring adherence to treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on adults, particularly older adults, who are navigating various mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and trauma. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, each with unique life experiences that contribute to their mental health challenges. Understanding and empathizing with these clients will be pivotal in helping them achieve their mental health goals.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in the state of Washington.

• Proven experience of 2 years in a mental health counseling role, with a specific focus on working with older adults.
