Recruitment Specialist

Professional Search Group (PSG) is a recruiting and staffing firm established in Australia that launched its first US office in late 2015. Due to growth, our LA team is currently hiring a Recruitment Specialist to help with the current book of business we have. This is a dedicated recruiting only role and candidates with experience recruiting for Technology, Accounting and Finance and Administrative based positions will be highly regarded! Recruiter responsibilities include placing job ads in various online channels, searching through LinkedIn, evaluating applications, and providing shortlists of qualified candidates based on established criteria. To be successful in this role, you should have experience filling a variety of jobs for different departments and seniority levels. Ultimately, you will help our clients reduce time to hire by providing high-quality candidates in a timely manner. Responsibilities Conduct intake meetings with clients to agree on qualification criteria for candidates Publish job ads on job boards and social media Conduct LinkedIn searches Source and contact passive candidates online (e.g. via LinkedIn) Screen resumes and job applications Interview candidates and provide shortlists of qualified potential hires Update clients and colleagues on hiring status (e.g. number of screened & interviewed candidates) Prepare candidates before interviews with clients Create talent pipelines with high-potential candidates for future job opportunities Keep detailed records of past applicants’ information, including resumes, assignments and interview evaluations Manage a portfolio of client accounts and maintain good relationships with them Requirements 1-3 years minimum of proven work experience as a Staffing Agency Recruiter Proven experience or managing multiple requisitions Proven experience submitting shortlists to a high volume of requisitions daily Ability to manage the first hiring stages (job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing) Experience with various interview formats, including phone screening calls, in-person interviews and video interviews Experience evaluating candidates for various roles and seniority levels Knowledge of resume databases and Applicant Tracking Systems Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Solid organizational and time-management abilities If you live in or near the West Hollywood area, we offer Base salary range, plus uncapped commission Working with the World’s largest entertainment brands Incentive trips – previously included Fiji, Spain, Hong Kong, Costa Rica, Mexico, etc Excellent benefits including matching 401k and unlimited PTO Solid values that are both employee and client centric Salary Based on Target Earnings, plus Commissions/Bonuses Must be local to Los Angeles for a hybrid type schedule.
