Description Job Summary: Rivers Casino Pittsburgh is seeking a skilled Senior Cook to join our culinary team in our Flipt Restaurant. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing high-quality dishes and a dedication to maintaining the highest kitchen standards. If you are committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences, Responsibilities Prepares and cooks a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards. Assists in monitoring products in the freezer, walk-ins, and storerooms, ensuring freshness rotation and availability. Maintains a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention, performing all job duties in the safest possible manner. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient preparation of all menu items during busy service hours. Monitors the cleanliness of kitchen equipment and performs “clean as you go” Complies with all departmental rules, side work assignments and departmental procedures. Remains up to date on all departmental policies and procedures Ensures thorough communication between shifts Other duties as assigned Experience Requirements Proven experience working as a cook in a fast-paced restaurant, hotel or Casino Knowledge of food safety, sanitation regulations Reliable self-starter with an open mind and a positive attitude. Flexibility to works a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing and working in the kitchen Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
