A Step Ahead Counseling Center is actively searching for a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R) who is dedicated to providing exceptional mental health care in a remote telehealth setting. Work Environment\n

In response to the evolving landscape of mental health care, our practice operates entirely through a telehealth platform, offering flexibility and accessibility for both staff and patients. As a member of our remote team, you will work closely with fellow mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, in a supportive and collaborative virtual environment. Our regular work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs effectively. We also offer a sign-on bonus to new team members as an added incentive to join our dedicated practice.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments that respect and incorporate patients' cultural backgrounds, creating individualized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, tailoring approaches to meet the specific needs of each patient, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions.

• Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients in distress.

• Engage in collaborative care practices by consulting and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive treatment.

• Maintain clear and confidential documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes following legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case conferences and team meetings, contributing insights on cultural competency and best practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• A strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and the importance of cultural competence in delivering therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
