Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify patients' mental health status and treatment needs, resulting in effective, personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices to address the complex mental health concerns of clients.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and case notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring timely updates that contribute to ongoing care coordination.

• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to optimize treatment outcomes.

• Participate in case consultations and peer review meetings, sharing insights and learning from fellow therapists to improve therapeutic techniques and patient care strategies.

• Offer educational resources to clients and their families about mental health issues, facilitating better understanding and engagement in the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your therapeutic practice will encompass a diverse clientele, ranging from children to adults, each facing unique mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. This role requires cultural competency to effectively support individuals from various backgrounds, ensuring tailored approaches to treatment that resonate with each patient's experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid, unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.

• At least 2 years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling with a focus on delivering psychotherapy services via telehealth.
