Director, Sales Operations, Fragrance North America

Description Position Summary The Director, Sales Operations is responsible for driving retail sales, gross-to-net shipment plans, inventory management, forecasting, and operational planning across key retail accounts. This role partners closely with Account Management, Finance, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Brand Leadership to support profitable growth, optimize inventory, and improve business performance. Key Responsibilities Support annual budgeting, long-range planning, and financial forecasting processes. Develop and manage retail sales, shipment, return, and inventory forecasts. Partner with cross-functional teams to align business plans and identify risks and opportunities. Monitor and optimize key inventory metrics, including weeks of supply, inventory turns, service levels, fill rates, and returns. Oversee inventory strategies including replenishment, phase-ins, phase-outs, markdowns, testers, and returns. Partner with Supply Chain and Demand Planning teams to improve forecast accuracy and inventory productivity. Lead monthly forecast reviews and business performance analyses.Track results against budget, forecast, and prior-year performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations. Support demand planning and consensus forecasting processes. Lead planning and coordination for new product launches and promotional programs. Drive continuous improvement of planning tools, reporting, and operational processes. Provide guidance and support to planning and cross-functional teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. 10+ years of experience in sales operations, inventory planning, demand planning, financial planning, or related business functions. Strong analytical, financial, and business acumen. Experience managing forecasts, inventory, and retail sales plans. Advanced Excel and reporting tool proficiency. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills. Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in retail, beauty, consumer goods, or related industries preferred.
