Fox Valley Auto Group is looking for a customer-focused Service Writer to join our busy service department. As the face of our service drive, you'll be the key link between our customers and our technicians — building trust, keeping people informed, and making sure every vehicle that comes through our doors gets the care it deserves.

What you'll do:

• Greet service customers promptly and professionally, whether they arrive by appointment or drive-in
• Listen to customer concerns, accurately document vehicle issues, and write clear, complete repair orders
• Communicate recommended services, timelines, and pricing in a way customers understand and trust
• Coordinate with technicians and parts staff to keep repairs moving and customers updated on status
• Present estimates, secure approvals, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction after the visit
• Promote maintenance services and identify opportunities to help customers care for their vehicles
• Maintain accurate records and meet dealership CSI (customer satisfaction) goals

What we're looking for:

• Strong communication and people skills — you can explain things clearly and put customers at ease
• Previous experience as a Service Advisor/Writer or in automotive service is a plus, but we'll train the right person
• A customer-first attitude and the ability to stay organized when things get busy
• Basic computer skills; experience with dealership software (Tekion) is a bonus
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
