Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at our outpatient treatment center, you will engage in the following key responsibilities:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging, therapeutic group sessions where young adults can connect, share their experiences, and foster mutual understanding and support.

• Individual Counseling: Implement personalized counseling approaches that delve into individual clients' thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, assisting them in developing effective coping strategies and measurable action plans.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that cater to their specific mental health needs and preferences.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize evidence-based assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with our multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate effectively on client cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30, who may be grappling with a variety of mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance use challenges. Your role will be pivotal in offering them strength and understanding, guiding them toward recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working directly with teens and young adults in a mental health or outpatient treatment setting.

• Familiarity with PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) and its clinical requirements is a plus.
