Medical Billing Coordinator

To support the Accounts Receivable Resolution team, the part-time Medical Billing Accounts Receivable Coordinator will manage unpaid or rejected insurance claims, respond to inquiries from insurance carriers, and pursue reimbursements while working remotely. Key responsibilities Follow up on unpaid or rejected insurance claims and resolve account issues with carriers and staff Respond to inquiries from insurance carriers, demonstrating a high level of customer service Prepare appeals for claim denials and advise the Team Lead on trends regarding insurance denials Required qualifications High school diploma 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced medical billing environment Previous experience in a healthcare setting Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding Ability to handle a high volume of work with speed and accuracy
