Warehouse Team LeadFull time Americas - North America - United States - Pittston - RPSNA Pittston PADUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary duties and responsibilities of the Team Leader consist of, but are not limited to, the following:Exemplifies the Amcor Behaviors and Values at all times. Leads by example and exhibits professionalism in all areas when representing Amcor inside and outside of the plantMaintain warehouse organization including but not limited to: Making room and organizing locationsCleaning/removing damaged or disorderly productVerifying inventory and searching for lost parts as needed for shipmentsTaken and score highly on all yearly HR required MyDevelopment CoursesUnderstand that professional conduct is expected at all times MyDevelopment Course – E-Mail Etiquette: Tone and FormattingHave the availability to work any shift and cover for vacations as neededPerform any other required task as directedLoad/unload shipments, deliveries and production trailersApprove or reject trailers as neededContinuously monitor and maintain system dunnage levels (slip sheets, wrapper film, empty pallets, etc.)Make and receive calls between departments to facilitate communication and conveyance of materials as neededCoach or redirect team members to ensure tasks are being completedSupport training program by monitoring all new hires for their first 60 days MyDevelopment Course: Train the TrainerMaintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and department requirementsMonitor and coach employees to make sure that tasks are being completed as expectedMaintain a safe, clean and organized work areaCoordinate and ensure all warehouse associates get their breaksKnowledgeable in operating stretch wrap/shrink wrap machineWork effectively as a team member, and communicate any immediate concerns to the Warehouse ManagerReview and inspect trailers as a final decision based on safety and ISO/SQF standards MyDevelopment Course: Key Principles of ISO 9000Must have good knowledge of both finished products and raw materials, and will be able to read and understand incoming and outgoing orders. Must understand labeling and packaging processesProvide feedback to department associates concerning their responsibilities to safety and qualityVarious other duties as assignedAUTHORITIESMonitor inventory control to maximize warehouse utilizationRequest missing inventory to be removed by the inventory teamRead and send emails to ensure complete communication as neededUnderstands and will adhere to all ISO & SQF guidelines and policiesQUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or equivalentProven ability to understand all DcLink, JDE, Excel, and any other in-house software programs implementedProven decision making and demonstrated respect among peersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong PC and analytical skillsStrong organizational skills and proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneouslyPIT Certification requiredGood hand-eye coordination is requiredPosition requires agility and consistent attention to detailMust be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holiday and over-timeGood communication skills--verbal and written; ability to effectively communicateAbility to work independently in a potentially isolated area of the buildingMust be able to meet all the above responsibilities to perform the jobOur ExpectationsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
