CNC Operator

We are seeking a skilled machinist to join our team in a job shop environment. This is not a production shop.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of hands-on experience and a thorough understanding of setting up and operating Haas CNC milling centers. Haas experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate basic, specialized, and advanced machine tools for precision machining operations.
• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines.
• Use overhead cranes.
• Monitor machine feeds and speeds during machining and make edits as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine machining methods and operation sequences.
• Determine product dimensions and tolerances accurately.
• Select appropriate tools, machines, and materials for machining work.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hands-on machining experience.
• Experience setting up and operating Haas CNC milling centers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering information.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate with a team.
• Self-motivated and driven approach to work.
