Job Details Location: Stith Center, 791 Chambers Road, Aurora, CO 80011. Position Type: 1 full-time equivalent (40 hrs per week, benefited). Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree. Salary: $21.03 – $31.56 per hour. Shift: Fully on‑site/in‑person, Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Pay schedule: paid bi‑weekly. Essential Functions Serve as payee for clients requiring assistance to manage finances. Help clients meet basic needs for food, clothing, shelter, personal safety, and general health care, and assist with applications for income, medical, housing, or other benefits. Ensure clients’ access to needed services and community resources by arranging transportation. Provide comprehensive psychosocial services designed to improve or maintain clients’ functional abilities. Help clients evaluate strengths and symptoms, and facilitate goal setting and planning for appropriate services. Guide and instruct clients in daily living skills such as medication use, diet, exercise, personal hygiene, shopping, cooking, budgeting, housekeeping, transportation, and use of community services. Help clients develop social skills, interests, and leisure time activities, including opportunities for age‑appropriate activities. Help clients find and use appropriate employment opportunities, vocational rehabilitation services, or supported work environments. Offer support, assistance, consultation, and education to families, friends, landlords, employers, community agencies, and others who interact with clients, to maximize benefits and minimize problems. Identify, work with, and fully utilize potential natural support systems such as neighborhood networks, churches, and community organizations to encourage program engagement. Reach out to eligible clients, inform them of, and educate them about available community services. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or other related human services degree. Or bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field with at least one year of behavioral health experience. Valid Colorado driver’s license with a driving record that meets organizational requirements. Demonstrated interest in the behavioral health field. Ability to assess crisis situations and intervene appropriately. Knowledge of community resources. Basic understanding and ability to work with varying behavioral health presentations. Effective organizational skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Preferred: Bilingual. Vaccination and TB Test All employees must receive an annual influenza (flu) shot and a negative TB test before their first day of hire.
