IT Project Coordinator

DescriptionTEKsystems is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Project Coordinator to support field-based IT initiatives across different site locations. This role will play a critical part in coordinating on-site technicians, ensuring data integrity, and driving consistency across system deployments and cleanup efforts. The ideal candidate has a technical background (preferably desktop support or field services) and thrives in fast-paced environments requiring strong organization, oversight, and communication skills.Key Responsibilities -Technician Coordination:Manage and monitor on-site technicians performing system updates, cleanups, or deploymentsEnsure technicians adhere to schedules, arrive on time, and complete assigned tasksServe as the central point of contact for field teams, addressing issues and escalations in real timeProject Oversight & Execution: Track progress of ongoing projects to ensure timelines and deliverables are metCoordinate logistics and ensure proper resource allocation across multiple sitesMaintain clear documentation of project status, risks, and outcomesData Accuracy & System Integrity:Verify the accuracy of system updates, configurations, and data entriesIdentify discrepancies and drive resolution with technicians or internal teamsSupport system cleanup initiatives to improve operational efficiency and data qualityCommunication & Reporting:Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and performanceCollaborate with IT, operations, and clinic teams to ensure smooth implementationEscalate risks or delays proactively to leadershipSkillsProject coordination, Project management, desktop, hardware deploymentTop Skills DetailsProject coordination,Project management,desktop,hardware deploymentAdditional Skills & QualificationsVery professional, reliable and project management.Experience LevelIntermediate LevelJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
