Timekeeping Payroll Analyst

Abbott seeks a Timekeeping Payroll Analyst to administer and support the organization's time and attendance processes within ADP/Workday systems at the Abbott Park, Illinois location. The role ensures accurate employee work hour recording, resolves timekeeping discrepancies, and maintains compliance with U.S. payroll regulations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary administrator and subject matter expert for ADP Time Management system
- Monitor, maintain, and audit employee time and attendance records for accuracy and compliance
- Research and resolve missed punches, pay code issues, schedule variances, and overtime exceptions
- Prepare and validate timekeeping data for payroll processing and perform system testing
- Manage employee and manager inquiries through Zendesk and generate timekeeping reports
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years timekeeping, payroll, or human resources administration experience
- One to two years ADP Time Management system experience
- Working knowledge of U.S. payroll practices, overtime calculations, and wage-hour compliance
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office applications
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-volume environment
Compensation: $61,300–$122,700 base
