Work Environment\n

This position allows for a remote work setting, granting counselors the flexibility to engage with clients from various locations while managing their schedules effectively. Our practice operates primarily Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend hours on a rotating basis. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the frequency, intensity, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs, incorporating their preferences and goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to assist clients in managing their mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, offering insights into treatment options and self-care strategies to foster recovery.

• Monitor client progress throughout treatment and adjust therapeutic approaches as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care tailored to individual patient needs.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client sessions and treatment histories in line with ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and learn from one another while enhancing collective clinical skills.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs and work towards destigmatizing mood disorders within our community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Single Pathway Psychiatry, you will primarily focus on supporting individuals experiencing a variety of mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will work with clients from diverse backgrounds, addressing their unique experiences and challenges through tailored therapeutic approaches to facilitate recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to coordinate with medical professionals.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with a strong ability to establish rapport with clients of varying backgrounds.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience with a specialization in mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We also offer a competitive sign-on bonus.
