DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position leads analytical and technical support for complex systems within Driver and Vehicle Services. You guide system maintenance, updates, and improvements that help major applications operate effectively. As a Business Analyst 3, you will perform the following duties:
- System Leadership: Oversee technical and analytical support for complex automated data processing systems
- Project Coordination: Guide development teams in adapting systems and coordinating application improvements
- Team Supervision: Direct staff responsible for development and maintenance of numerous applications and interfaces
- Communication Duties: Prepare status updates and collaborate with internal staff, external partners, and vendors
- Requirement Analysis: Facilitate sessions to gather business requirements and document solutions for system updates
- Issue Resolution: Evaluate problems, identify solutions, and support enhancements to business applications
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. May be required to work during an authorized office closing.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Business Analyst 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Six years of business process analysis experience; or
- Two years of business process analysis experience and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
