Job Description:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESUnderstand full cycle expense accountingUnderstands and maintains company processes for Accounts Receivable & Accounts PayableAssists in workflow steps for Resident Charges, Credits Requests, Lease Charges, Renewals, New Leases.Assists in workflow steps for Invoices and Purchase Orders.Discover trends and deficiencies in processes so that we can improveWork hand in hand with Property Accountants to reconcile revenue within the financialsWork hand in hand with Property Managers to reconcile and work through resident ledgers & AP issues.Assist with security deposit refund processesComplete AR audits on balance sheets and general ledgersAssists with Monthly and Quarterly workbooks for bonuses and incentives.Perform month end A/R and GL closing proceduresPrepare and review journal entries and reclass entriesReconcile bank activity on a daily/weekly/monthly basisBe involved in annual budgeting process and input budgets into accounting softwareLiaise with the Property Accountants and PMs with regards to financial statement reviewsOther duties as assigned from time to time, by Controllers and ManagersMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)Bachelor’s Degree or equivalentTwo years of Commercial AccountingProficiency in Yardi is preferredGood oral and written communications skillsAbout The Company:OnniFor over half a century, Onni has been building communities for people to live, work, and play.
