Vice President - Infrastructure & Project Finance

Atlas Search is working with a leading global commercial bank that is building its infrastructure and project finance business in the Americas. The bank has decades of experience financing infrastructure and energy in Asia. In the Americas, its goal is to be a primary-stage lender: structuring, underwriting, arranging, and closing deals alongside top sponsors and developers.

\n

This is a hands-on VP role covering origination, structuring, execution, and credit, not a passive balance-sheet seat.

\n

Sectors: Renewables and storage · Power and transmission · Midstream and logistics · Data centers and fiber · Select PPP and availability-based assets

\n

Financing: Construction and term loans · Club and underwritten deals · Syndication · Exposure to private placements and project bonds

What You’ll Do

\n
    \n
  • Work with senior bankers to find and win deals the bank can lead or anchor.
    • \n
  • Structure, negotiate, document, and close transactions, managing diligence and advisors.
    • \n
  • Build project finance models and run downside cases to size debt and set covenants and reserves.
    • \n
  • Lead technical, legal, insurance, tax, and market diligence, and turn risks into bankable terms.
    • \n
  • Write credit submissions and defend them at credit committee.
    • \n
  • Coach junior team members on modeling and execution.
    • \n
\n

What You Bring

\n
    \n
  • 5–10 years in project finance, structured finance, or infrastructure lending or advisory
    • \n
  • Strong project finance modeling skills: you build models, not just review them. VBA is a plus.
    • \n
  • Sound judgment on credit, structure, and documentation risk
    • \n
  • The ability to own deliverables under deadline pressure
    • \n
  • Clear communication and good commercial instincts
    • \n
\n

Nice to Have: Knowledge of the U.S. sponsor community · Private placement or project bond exposure · Experience with development banks, export credit agencies, or public-sector counterparties
