Accounts Payable Clerk
Sparks Group has partnered with a well-established specialty construction contractor to identify a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their growing team. This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone with strong data entry and organizational skills who is looking to build a long-term career. Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Enter invoice and payment information into the accounting system.
- Reconcile vendor statements and company credit card accounts.
- Prepare and process weekly accounts payable check runs.
- Maintain organized accounts payable files and payment records.
- File processed invoices and paid checks.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and request outstanding invoices as needed.
- Provide administrative support related to accounts payable functions.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of office or administrative experience preferred.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the organization.

Pay Range: Hourly $18.00 to $20.00
