The San Antonio Counseling Center is seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapists to fill full-time remote positions. Work Environment\n

As a remote organization, we offer our therapists the flexibility to work from home while maintaining the collaborative spirit of a community health clinic. You will engage in regular communication with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals through virtual platforms. The work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand patients' needs, strengths, and challenges, thereby informing individualized treatment strategies.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individuals, couples, and families, using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and more.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups aimed at promoting community and addressing common mental health concerns.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and psychologists to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, facilitating seamless communication and coordination.

• Manage crisis intervention situations effectively, providing immediate support and resources during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients about various mental health conditions, available treatment options, and local community resources to promote informed decision-making.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic documentation in line with state regulations and ethical standards, ensuring compliance and quality of care.

• Engage in regular consultations with colleagues, participate in team meetings, and stay current with relevant research and advancements in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong foundations in mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, allowing for effective assessment and intervention.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct in-depth mental health assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate patient goals.

• Experience delivering individual and group therapy to a variety of patient populations, showcasing adaptability and cultural competence.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with clients and team members alike.

• Strong ethical judgment and professionalism in maintaining boundaries and confidentiality.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in technology essential for remote communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in community mental health settings or outpatient clinics is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and an understanding of social determinants of health.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary within the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
