Ashton Solutions is a fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) supporting 100+ small and medium-sized businesses throughout Northeastern Ohio. We’re looking for an IT Support Technician who is curious, customer-focused, and ready to grow their technical skills.

You’ll work across a variety of client environments, troubleshoot real-world problems, and learn alongside experienced engineers rather than providing repetitive internal desktop support.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and end-user issues
• Provide support through phone, email, remote tools, and onsite visits
• Support Microsoft 365/O365 and common business applications
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches, and wireless networks
• Work in cloud-based and on-premises environments
• Manage and prioritize support tickets
• Diagnose problems and follow issues through resolution
• Explain technical information clearly to non-technical users
• Document troubleshooting steps and solutions
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when appropriate
• Learn new technologies and apply them across different client environments

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone with a strong technical foundation and a genuine desire to keep learning.

• 0–2 years of hands-on IT, PC support, or technical support experience
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365
• Basic hardware and troubleshooting knowledge
• General understanding of cloud services and business applications
• Exposure to LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, and firewalls
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
• Strong organization and follow-through
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced support environment
• Positive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn
