Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver structured mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, to support clients in reducing stress and achieving emotional balance.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, tailoring interventions to their specific needs.

• Guide clients through an array of mindfulness practices—such as meditation and breathing exercises—to enhance self-awareness, promote relaxation, and encourage emotional resilience.

• Facilitate interactive group workshops on topics such as stress management, mindfulness, and resilience-building strategies, creating community connections among participants.

• Incorporate mindfulness techniques into one-on-one therapy sessions, directly addressing the mental health concerns of clients while fostering personal growth.

• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals and healthcare providers to ensure an integrated approach to client care, sharing insights and strategies that enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and the mindfulness interventions employed, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facilitating continuity of care.

• Engage in personal mindfulness practice and ongoing professional development to enhance expertise in MBSR and remain current with industry best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals seeking therapeutic support for various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and therapeutic interventions are tailored to meet their unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess current and valid licensure as either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in mindfulness-based practices, with a strong understanding of how to integrate these techniques into therapeutic settings.

• Excellent communication skills, with a track record of creating a supportive and calming therapeutic environment for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or similar mindfulness methodologies preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
