Key Responsibilities\n

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Conduct engaging group sessions where clients can share experiences, learn skills from each other, and foster a supportive community environment.

• Individual Counseling: Provide personalized therapy sessions focused on analyzing clients' thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, guiding them to develop beneficial coping strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans, continuously adjusting them based on needs and preferences.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize assessment tools and feedback to track client progress, ensuring effective treatment outcomes and timely interventions as necessary.

• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a team of mental health professionals to coordinate care effectively, consult on complex cases, and maintain open lines of communication about client progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on young adults aged 18-30 diagnosed with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and other related mental health issues. You will play a crucial role in inspiring hope and facilitating healing – helping clients navigate their challenges while empowering them towards recovery and self-improvement.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.

• Demonstrated experience providing mental health treatment, ideally with young adult populations.

We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including a starting salary between USD 85,000 and 100,000 annually, reflective of qualifications and experience.
