Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and monitor patients presenting with a variety of emergent conditions
• Administer medications, therapies, and interventions as ordered; assist with procedures as needed
• Continuously monitor patient status and respond rapidly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and the care team to develop and implement care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses; maintain accurate, complete, and timely charting
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions; ensure patient safety and privacy

Requirements

• Active California RN license
• BLS certification at minimum
• Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency department environment
• Willingness to participate in a travel assignment for an 8-week contract
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a hospital setting
