We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams while providing excellent patient care and maintaining radiation safety standards.
Location: Greensboro, NC
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
Pay: $34.50–$51.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications
Top Pay: Up to $55.00/hour for candidates experienced in both Mammography and Breast Ultrasound
Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
- Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Properly position and immobilize patients for imaging.
- Operate mammography equipment and adjust settings for optimal image quality.
- Review images to ensure they meet diagnostic standards.
- Follow radiation safety, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient records and use EMR/PACS systems.
- Provide professional and compassionate customer service.
Requirements
- Active ARRT (M) certification – Required
- BLS certification – Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of mammography experience preferred.
- Recent Mammography graduates will be considered.
- Experience with both screening and diagnostic mammography preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
