Project Coordinator - Broadband Construction

Location: On-Site | Hauppauge, NY or Bethpage, NY

Broadband construction is one of the fastest-growing segments of infrastructure, with billions of dollars being invested into network expansion, fiber deployment, and connectivity upgrades. As a Project Coordinator, you'll work directly with experienced Project Managers and play a key role in keeping major construction projects organized, on schedule, and moving forward.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, problem-solving, communication, and working with multiple teams. You'll gain exposure to project scheduling, budgeting, vendor management, construction operations, permitting, reporting, and stakeholder communication, providing a strong foundation for future growth into Project Manager, Construction Manager, PMO, or Program Management positions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support Project Managers with the coordination of broadband construction projects
• Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and construction records
• Coordinate with contractors, engineering teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Assist with project status updates and reporting
• Track permits, work orders, project approvals, and construction activity
• Schedule meetings and follow up on action items
• Support project budget tracking and invoicing activities
• Update Excel spreadsheets and project management systems
• Help identify project risks, delays, and roadblocks to keep projects on track

What We're Looking For

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
• Interest in project management, construction, utilities, infrastructure, telecommunications, or operations
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• Previous project coordination, administrative, scheduling, operations, or construction support experience is a plus

This is a Contract position based out of Melville, NY.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
