Law and Motion & Appellate Associate

Overview Leading law and motion work in advance of trial and serving as embedded appellate counsel at trial. Proficiency in all forms of written advocacy at the trial level, including dispositive motions, evidentiary motions, jury instructions, and verdict forms. Partnering closely with trial counsel to preserve issues for appeal, develop legal strategy, and lead briefing on complex legal issues. Experience managing law and motion teams for trial, working on MDLs, bellwether trials, and coordinated state court proceedings is strongly preferred. Experience in the product liability and mass tort space is a plus. Demonstrated leadership on matters, capable of managing multiple significant matters simultaneously, and supervising junior attorneys.
