Work Environment\n

As a part of our remote telehealth team, you will engage with patients via secure digital platforms in a supportive, flexible work environment. Our remote setup allows for a work-life balance while expanding access to mental health services for clients who may otherwise be unable to attend in-person sessions. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts scheduled based on patient availability and needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify both psychiatric conditions and the impact of any co-occurring medical issues.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that seamlessly integrate therapeutic and medical interventions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions in a compassionate manner, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to meet diverse patient needs.

• Collaborate closely with medical providers, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to coordinate care and enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies while maintaining poise and professionalism.

• Educate clients on the interplay between mental and physical health, empowering them to take active roles in managing their treatment.

• Maintain compliance with legal and ethical documentation standards, ensuring accurate and confidential patient records.

• Participate in team meetings, contributing insights and strategies for interdisciplinary care planning.

• Continuously update your knowledge on research advancements and best practices in integrated behavioral health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population experiencing co-occurring mental health and medical conditions. This includes individuals dealing with chronic pain, autoimmune diseases, and substance use disorders who require specialized therapeutic approaches to support their mental well-being. Your role will focus on helping these patients navigate their complex health needs, providing a source of stability and hope during challenging times.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.

• Proven ability to address the mental health needs of patients with complex medical histories, demonstrating proficiency in integrated care delivery.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster partnerships with patients and team members.

• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and upholding ethical guidelines.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate patient documentation and follow-ups.

Compensation and Benefits\n
