Team members join a stable, growth-oriented organization with a long-standing presence in the beverage and food industry.\n Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Poughkeepsie, NY. This role is responsible for managing and growing customer accounts, maintaining strong relationships with distributors and retail partners, and ensuring timely communication on orders, promotions, and product availability. The Account Manager will monitor sales performance, identify opportunities for expansion, and collaborate with internal teams such as sales, logistics, and finance to support account needs. Day-to-day tasks include visiting customer locations, resolving service or delivery issues, preparing account reports, and participating in planning for regional sales initiatives. The role also involves representing the company professionally at meetings and events and providing ongoing feedback to support continuous improvement in customer service and operations.\n Qualifications \n \n Account management and customer relationship skills, including experience building, maintaining, and growing client accounts. \n Sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, present solutions, and close agreements. \n Organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines effectively. \n Communication and interpersonal skills, including clear written and verbal communication and professional presentation abilities. \n Basic business and analytical skills, such as understanding pricing, margins, and using data to track performance. \n Experience in beverage, food, or consumer packaged goods industries is preferred. \n Proficiency with common office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM systems) and comfort learning new tools. \n Ability to work on-site in Poughkeepsie, NY, with local travel to customer locations as needed; valid driver’s license preferred. \n High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is a plus. \naa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
