Description – Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests across various areas including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, following established protocols diligently.
• Ensure result accuracy, resolve any discrepancies, and carry out preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures, mentor new staff or interns, and help uphold the highest quality standards within the laboratory.
• Foster a pristine and secure work environment while strictly adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent degree in allied health along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is to be completed within one year of employment.
• Ensure ongoing certification is maintained throughout your employment.
