About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Legal Officer (CLO) to join its executive team. The CLO will be a visionary and collaborative leader, serving as a key strategic advisor on all legal affairs. This role is pivotal in supporting the organization's strategic growth, governance, risk management, and various legal matters, including labor and employment, physician enterprise operations, and organizational partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the legal function across the enterprise and must be prepared to navigate the complex healthcare and regulatory landscape, balancing innovation and risk management. The ideal CLO for the company will have a strong background in legal leadership within a complex healthcare setting, with a focus on healthcare law, transactions, contracting, physician alignment, and litigation. Experience in supporting hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, or integrated delivery systems is highly valued. The role offers the opportunity to shape the future of the organization and to enhance the legal team's role as a proactive business partner. The CLO will work closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, executive leadership team, and physician leaders, and must therefore possess exceptional judgment and strong relationship-building skills.
