A commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company building in rare, immune-mediated disease. The product is a specialty biologic reaching patients treated by cardiologists and rheumatologists - a small, high-value prescriber universe where relationships, not reach, decide the number. The field team is lean and the launch is live.

The role

\n

You own a territory outright: targeting, planning, and delivery. You educate institutional decision makers, cardiologists and rheumatologists on the disease state, efficacy and safety, administration, and patient services - and you sit with nurses to teach the reconstitution and injection process yourself. This is a scientific sale to a specialist audience, not a frequency game.

What you will own

\n

\n
• Build and run a strategic territory plan: account prioritization, business planning, resource allocation.
\n
• Hit the commercial goals set for launch.
\n
• Educate cardiologists, rheumatologists and institutional decision makers on the product and appropriate use.
\n
• Train nurses on reconstitution and administration.
\n
• Identify and build advocacy with the Thought Leaders in the disease state.
\n
• Maintain account profiles: institutional formularies, pathways, payer policies.
\n
• Walk accounts through the patient services and support program.
\n
• Partner with the medical and payer field teams.
\n
• Run peer-to-peer programs, small group discussions and 1:1s, virtual and in person.
\n
• Attend scientific meetings and hold real clinical depth on the disease state, competitors and market dynamics.

Must-have

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree, 5+ years biopharmaceutical sales, specialty therapeutic experience.
\n
• Experience selling and demonstrating a reconstitution and injection process
\n
• A documented track record of success - awards, rankings, quota attainment.
\n
• Cardiology 2+ years of experience.
\n
• Rare disease or ultra-rare experience.
\n
• Territory strategy built and executed on a new drug launch.
\n

Compensation

\n

\n
• Base $185-$200k (total comp can exceed $400k)
\n
• Incentive target $65k+ annually, measured quarterly
\n
