Business Development Representative (BDR)

Switchboard is seeking a Business Development Representative on behalf of our client, Yooz . We're looking for a driven, coachable prospector who wants to build a career in SaaS sales — someone who thrives on the phone, isn't afraid of rejection, and is motivated to build pipeline that turns into real revenue.

Responsibilities

• Generate qualified pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting — calls, email, and social — into target accounts within your assigned territory

• Research and identify key contacts (CFOs, Controllers, VPs of Finance, AP leaders) and craft relevant, personalized outreach that speaks to their pain points and coordinates prospecting messaging within territory AE's.

• Qualify inbound leads from Marketing / Digital Campaigns and route sales-ready opportunities to the Account Executive team

• Book meetings and product demos that convert into qualified pipeline

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date activity and pipeline records in the CRM

• Partner closely with Marketing and Sales to refine messaging and target account strategy

• Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly activity and pipeline-generation targets

Requirements

• 0–2 years of sales or business development experience; prior SDR/BDR experience is a plus but not required

• Strong verbal and written communication skills — comfortable getting on the phone and handling objections

• Self-motivated with a competitive, coachable mindset and a genuine desire to grow into a closing sales role

• Organized and detail-oriented, with the discipline to manage high volumes of outreach and CRM hygiene

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment

Compensation & Location

• Base salary: $80,000–$90,000, plus bonus

• Location: Remote, unless based in the Dallas metro area
