Senior Accounting Manager

GQR - Senior Accounting Manager June Start Date NYC Office - Hybrid - T, W, TH in-office located on W 14th Street The Finance & Growth team at GQR is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Manager to support the continued growth and scalability of the organization. Reporting directly to the Controller, this individual will oversee core accounting operations including month-end close, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, audit support, and team leadership across both domestic and offshore accounting functions. The Opportunity Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across financial reporting Review journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and maintain the integrity of the general ledger Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for leadership and external stakeholders Partner with external auditors and support audit readiness, compliance initiatives, and tax reporting Analyze margins and financial variances across multiple legal entities Manage and mentor accounting team members while helping improve systems, processes, and operational scalability Collaborate cross-functionally with internal leadership and external partners to support business objectives What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting required CPA or equivalent certification required 5 years of progressive accounting experience including leadership or supervisory experience Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and core accounting principles Experience leading month-end and year-end close processes within a fast-paced environment Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working within ERP/CRM systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central, or Bullhorn Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Experience within a high-growth and/or private equity-backed environment preferred If you're looking to join a collaborative, fast-paced finance team where you can make a direct impact on operational growth and accounting strategy, we'd love to connect. #J-18808-Ljbffr GQR
