Qualifications:

• Must have successfully passed the MN Para Educator Exam or have completed at least 60 college credits
• Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Strong sense of empathy, patience, and adaptability to support diverse learning needs
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in educational settings (preferred)
• Dependable, collaborative, and flexible in a classroom setting

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily classroom assistance under the direction of certified teachers and special education staff
• Support students with academic tasks, organization, and social-emotional skills
• Assist in supervising students during classroom activities and transitions
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) with care and discretion
• Foster a respectful, inclusive learning environment for all students
