Work Environment

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist at our outpatient office in South River, you'll work in a collaborative and professional atmosphere. You will have the flexibility to choose your own hours from Monday to Friday, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while meeting patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Implement a variety of treatment strategies, utilizing exercise protocols, manual therapy techniques, and advanced modalities to enhance mobility and reduce pain.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their response to therapy.
• Educate and train patients, families, and caregivers on proper techniques and methods to support healing and rehabilitation at home.
• Stay informed of the latest advancements in physical therapy through continued education and professional development opportunities.
• Actively participate in departmental meetings, contributing insights and feedback to improve patient care and operational efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus predominantly on servicing a diverse outpatient clientele, ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations, each presenting unique challenges and rehabilitation needs. You will engage with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, neurological disorders, surgical procedures, and chronic pain, ensuring that personalized care plans are established and met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Flexibility in adapting to changing patient needs and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred but new graduates with a passion for patient care are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with home health or outpatient services is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
